I'd rather weather the lightnings in the skies,
Rather than sliding on the rainbows that may not even be there.
Though its beauty mesmerizes,
No certainty that it'll be there.
Sometimes it's too afraid to appear.
Thus giving you just an empty sky.
We'd rather choose that rain that we see,
Rather than that rainbow that may just give a momentary sparkle,
And later, it'd be gone.
