Often we'd search for a spark of light,
From the stars in a dark sky.
Grasping to the shine,
Holding on to it,
As to a hope.
But when the stars light off,
The skies become dark,
You struggle your way out.
And as the shines are gone,
You take a moment to waltz on the ground once again,
Letting go of that grasp of light,
Starting over as a blank slate,
Erasing the remnants of them sparks,
As in the darkness of the night skies,
You search your way through.
