suffice

Some leaves are blue,
But they appear green,
only to camouflage.
to portray a serenity that does not exist.

Some clouds are black.
But a white is what they portray
to create a vibe of purity
ones they don't even own.

And some flowers are yellow
but a red paint it wears
just to seal
what it really hides inside.

But when the rains, they fall
They wash away the vibrant colours
of painting
And a real-ness they appear as.

They could no longer hide
as the truth
they're out
though sealed.

But just see a green, if that's what they'd want to portray
or a white, if that's they want to show,
and rather a yellow,
if that's what they'd prefer.

There's not a need for a rhyme
or a word or two
as no words
is all that it needs.
to suffice.
