In life we make a choice,
Sometimes we fight for what we want,
But when we get it,
We decided to make a different choice..
It's sometimes pretty confusing,
Of even when the choice is in our hands,
We still fail to fulfil our wants and needs.
Perhaps it’s the desire to satisfy others,
Putting our thoughts second on the list,
Forgetting what we actually really wanted,
Just easily shaken by the words of others..
At times we’d rather choose to complain,
Until in the end of the day we get nothing,
And perhaps just making the wrong choices.
We want to regret,
But they say it’s not good to fret or regret,
We just have to live with the decision made,
And perhaps only looking forward,
As turning back is never an option.
Perhaps there may be a hidden reason which lies beneath.
