they told you not to stand too far on an edge of a cliff,
because as you do,
you may fall.
though you try to avoid,
you accidentally slip.
thus you fly in the open air,
struggling to find a grip.
but thankfully you had a parachute,
to bring you down safely.
nevertheless, you learned a lesson,
you'd never stand by a cliff again
and put yourself in danger.
and no matter how bright or glittery the other side is.
you'd never go there again.
ever.
so you'd hope for another better day.
