Soar

a bird stuck in a cage,
awaiting for its moment to soar,
being kept for too long,
a hindrance of its own freedom,
looking for a chance to escape,
to be what it wants to be,
to head for where it wants to go,
but perhaps too scared,
care too much,
bout the eyes that may be watching,
afraid to be caught,
a fear to drown,
in a stream of perceptions,
thus just remaining in a cage,
awaiting for its moments to soar.
